ASBESTOS VICTIMS MEMORIAL SERVICE 30 November 2018

This is Terry Miller OAM. Terry worked at the James Hardie factory in Elizabeth West for many years. He described conditions at the factory as awful and remembered coming home covered in asbestos dust, which stuck to his clothes, skin and hair.

Terry was involved in the James Hardie campaign in 2004 and was part of a small group who formed the Asbestos Victims Association (SA) in 2000.

Terry devoted himself to helping others as he knew only too well what this disease could do to you. He was a true-blue Aussie working class hero. Terry finally succumbed to asbestosis on 31 May this year.

Please join us at Pitman Park, Salisbury at 10.30 am on Friday 30 November 2018 as we say our final goodbye to Terry. Peter Malinauskas will pay tribute to Terry and speak about the difference that he made to so many people's lives.
