ASBESTOS - DON'T TAKE THE RISK!

 When asbestos fibres enter the body, they cannot be expelled.This can cause more than one type of asbestos disease.


Asbestosis is formation of scar tissue that limits the ability of the lungs to expand and contract. Breathing can become difficult and it prevents the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Mesothelioma is a type of cancer found in the tissues surrounding the lungs, stomach or intestines. Average life expectancy is twelve months.
Lung cancer can be caused by exposure to asbestos. Smoking cigarettes doubles the risk.
Many people have unknowingly had some asbestos exposure. A small proportion will be affected by asbestos disease.
